  • 700 delegates will gather to learn UNIT4’s vision for the future of business software

Bristol, UK, March 15, 2011, UNIT4 Business Software Ltd, the UK division of UNIT4, the world’s leading provider of business software for fast changing organisations, will welcome almost 700 delegates to its UK Customer Conference at the Manchester Central Convention Complex on the 16th and 17th March 2011.

UNIT4 made a number of significant product announcements in 2010 including Agresso Route 66 – a bold new approach to ERP ownership that marks the end of all-or-nothing upgrades and gives customers a new level of independence. The company also announced new cloud deployment options for its core Coda and Agresso Business World product lines. The conference agenda has been designed to further showcase our product vision and to inform UNIT4 customers, partners, industry analysts, members of the press and employees about how the company and its technology will continue to help both public and private sector organisations remain dynamic in an ever-changing post-recession economy. Industry and product leadership discussions will also take place, led by UNIT4 senior management.

With a focus on cost-cutting, as well as the need for organisations to create real value, a variety of sessions will look at how UNIT4’s flexible software can address these ostensibly opposing issues. UNIT4 will also outline how it will continue to foster a collaborative approach with its customers and partners across its software portfolio including Agresso Business World ERP, the Agresso Campus Platform, Coda Financials, Coda Dream and Business Collaborator.

UNIT4’s ERP and best-of-class financial management solutions are the most flexible on the market, enabling organisations to simply, quickly and cost effectively adapt to change. During 2010 UNIT4 extended its position as the number one supplier of ERP systems to UK local government and post-16 education establishments, and as the leading supplier of best-of-class financial management applications in high street retail.

“I am pleased to see so many delegates will be attending this year despite the continued economic uncertainty. We have a strong user community who are very active in their support of our solutions,” said Anwen Robinson, Managing Director of UNIT4 Business Software Limited. “I think everyone at the conference recognises that technology has a vital role to play in recovery and in creating a flexible infrastructure that will support future growth.”

Alastair Campbell, best known for his role as former British Prime Minister Tony Blair’s press secretary, is the key note speaker and will address the conference on the final day.
