CODA Architect

Do you need a fast track to pursuing best practice?

Design & Test your internal processes and controls, with our Architect application, to identify and address risk factors.

Architect has been developed to apply compliance methodologies for Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) as well as similar support for other governance codes around the world, such as SAS 70 and the various reporting regimes being introduced at a national level by many countries worldwide, for example: Canada – Bill 198; France – LSF; Netherlands – Code Tabaksblat; Sweden – Swedish Code of Corporate Governance; Japan – J-SOX.

The first methodology supported is for SOX compliance. In partnership, CODA has applied the Architect software to deliver a straightforward “top-down” compliance methodology based on industry best practices and effective, practical control systems. The resulting controls definition tool comes with COSO-related risks and controls pre-loaded and ready to use. It enables you to swiftly lay the foundations for incorporating proven best practices into your operations and build a coherent, comprehensive, documented set of processes and controls across your organization.

With Architect, organisations can fast track the stages of scoping and defining their enterprise risk management programme by selecting from an “off-the-shelf” list of key processes (along with associated procedures and controls to mitigate likely risks). Rather than building a framework from the ground up, they simply choose the most relevant best practices for their industry, needs and structure and can then amend them, if necessary, for their own specific situation.
