CODA Workflow - Position Hierarchy
The Position Hierarchy allows users to construct a hierarchy of roles/positions within their organisation to reflect approval routings. It includes the following:
- Multiple users can be associated with a position and allocated responsibility based on account groups, elements, element filters and/or element groups these are all user defined.
- Positions are allocated authorisation limits this allows the relevant people to be allocated the most appropriate authorisation level. This can be interchangeable for instances such as a key person being absent the responsibility will be re-allocated to an alternative person.
- Support of multiple Position Hierarchies allows different authorisation hierarchies to be set up depending on the type of process. For example, an IT purchase will require a different authorisation route than a travel purchase.
- Having parameters attached to a position rather than an individual means it is easier to add people in and easier to replace people when they leave.
